The Lead UX Designer is responsible for translating business requirements into user-centric information architecture and design enabling users' access to desired information and performs desired tasks. UX Designer has the ability understand and articulate the goals of the user and serve as their advocate throughout the design process.
Work closely with product owners and project teams to identify and clarify customer requirements develop rich and realistic user scenarios to support product definition and design
Define and document user flows, prioritize features and information within the interface, correlate features to user tasks/needs, and outline the functional specifications of the interface. Generate UX- and IA-related documentation, such as flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups
Establish and maintain a consistent user experience across a suite of products
Lead usability testing with users and develop summary reports
Develop and maintain the creation of style guides as well as champion UI standards
Evangelize best practices for achieving User Centered Design within agile development teams
Stay up-to-date on emerging best practices, trends, and technologies
6-8 years of experience in roles focused on interactive and/or visual design, user experience and information architecture.
BA or BFA in Design preferred.
A passion for and exceptional eye for detail.
Strong eye for typography, color, and layout.
Portfolio of applications demonstrating visually stunning web user experiences is a must.
A deep appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems.
Extensive knowledge of graphic design tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to take projects from concept to final design.
